CAIP | Argentine Chamber of the Plastic Industry

This is the institutional business entity which groups the Argentine Plastic Processing Industry, founded on December 28, 1944, with clear and concise objectives:

• Gather, relate and link entrepreneurs of the industry with each other;
• Represent and defend their rights;
• Manage provisions or measures that tend to preserve the interests of the industry;
• Solve problems that affect the associates;
• Create business-labor links;
• Promote the progress of the Argentine Plastic Industry.

CAIP actively participates in different levels of leadership of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) and forms part, together with its similar members in the region, of the Latin American Association of the Plastic Industry (ALIPLAST). MEMBERS: With an important component of creativity and with the support of the highest technology, the Argentine Plastic Industry satisfactorily provides the domestic market and exports finished products, which correspond to international quality standards.

Today, the CAIP represents more than 1,300 companies and offers the following services, among others: Counseling, Training of graduate and postgraduate workforce, Publications, Specialized Library, Permanent Exhibition of the Plastic Industry and Participation in Fairs and Exhibitions.
